16-Car Field -- All stick shift cars will qualify together. The top 16 will be placed in Outlaw. The next 16 will be placed in Sport. Typically, the Outlaw class will run 8.50 and quicker ETs. When purchasing a tech card, choose the class that fits you best but keep in mind you could be bumped up or down depending on qualifying time, number of registered cars, etc. The Sport class will have a breakout of .10 of the number 1 qualifier. There is no breakout in the Outlaw class.
Any year vehicle is allowed.
Any type chassis is permitted. No dragsters or altered.
Wheelie bars are prohibited for all vehicles except FWD or rotary powered.
OEM glass or lexan/composite is permitted.
Aftermarket axles, ring and pinions, final drive, spools, and differentials are permitted.
Clutch must be manually operated by driver's foot.
Must retain an H-Pattern clutch assisted transmission. Air shifters and electric shifters are prohibited. Strain gauge is permitted.
All fuels permitted.
Drag Radial, or Bias Ply no larger than 28" or 325 Radial.
NOTE: Edited rules on 7/14 to allow leaf spring vehicles to convert to solid axle.
